Moving away from the city has been a bit of an adjustment and it took us a while to get our heads around it all.
Since we moved here I have had time for spinning, dyeing yarn, knitting up unique items - some may say very unique :))  and been able to watch sunsets, chooks, cows and chickens scratching around have a large organic garden that was super productive until we discovered a possum in it !!   We have rediscovered how many of the old skills we had somehow had lodged in the recess of our memories :)0  Like how to bait a rat trap !

Decadent cinnamon Porridge DIY touch of luxury on a cold morning

Saute banana slices in butter and cinnamon  Make porridge/oats as normal adding some more ground cinnamon and raisins  Top oats with sauteed bananas and top with cream and enjoy 

Permaculture Garden Visit

We went recently for a visit to a local eco village and saw some permaculture gardens and came back inspired to switch ours around (again) They had quite a few compost heaps, and lots of interesting ideas, like climbing frames for plants and  companion planting
